About me

I’m a garden and planting designer working across London, mostly north and east, but also further afield.

I offer landscape and planting design to homeowners, and also collaborate with architects to provide planting schemes and garden advice for their clients.

My love of nature first stemmed from childhood summers spent in North Norfolk, and from seeing my mother’s passion for plants in our London garden, where she taught me how to grow my very first nasturtiums. This interest continued through to my studies in fine-art photography and printmaking, with the natural world often playing a central role in my work.

After completing my degrees in fine art and art theory I worked for two decades in arts publishing as a commissioning and editorial manager, for prestigious illustrated publishers such as Phaidon, Thames & Hudson, the National Gallery and Tate, and also worked on commissions for numerous horticultural publications.

In 2019, after being given my own allotment – where the rewards of sewing, nurturing and harvesting my own food were boundless – I trained in horticulture and garden design at Capel Manor in London for three years.

In 2022 I established my garden design practice in 2022 and have worked on a range of projects across London, all with the goal of imparting my love of nature to my clients – creating spaces for them that are inspiring, creative and joyful.
